Challenge #2 of the Winter Card Olympics

Wow...we're already at challenge #2! This time, we're challenging you to get warmed up after watching all that ice and snow and do some HEAT EMBOSSING!

We'd love to have you play along with us. The prize for this challenge is the level II Occasions mini catalog hostess set Picnic Parade in clear mount form. Just link up your card using Mr. Linky below after posting to your blog or other online gallery. You have until February 28th to link up your entry, all winners will be posted here on March 1st!

Jane's card uses the darling "Look Who's Perky" set from Paper Pretties. She stamped the swirly window on red patterned paper and cut it out by hand. Then a VersaMark pad was used to ink up the entire image. Glassy Glaze embossing powder was sprinkled all over and heated up to create a smooth and shiny surface. You can see closeups of this on her blog.

Michelle's card uses the cracked glass technique with Glassy Glaze Embossing Powder and the versatile Vintage Vogue stamp set from Stampin' Up! The sketch is from Mojo Monday's week 126 and the colors are inspired by Mardi Gras.
Jana's card uses the emboss resist technique with some beautiful irridescent embossing powder from Judikins and the SU! I {heart} Hearts set, and this week's 2S4U sketch.
