The first Challenge of the 2010 Winter Card Olympics

The 2010 Winter Olympics are well under way in Vancouver, so we've got a few challenges for you ourselves here in the blogosphere with I Dream of Stamping's Winter Card Olympics. Our first challenge to you is a color challenge. Create a card using the colors of your favorite country's flag, or, using the colors from the Olympic Logo (Green Galore, Brilliant Blue, Real Red, Yoyo Yellow and Basic Black). Once you have created your cards, please upload them to your blog, Splitcoast Stampers, or wherever your gallery may be, then come back here and add a link to it using Mr. Linky. You have until 5pm on February 28th to post your link, then we'll select a winner and post their card here on March 1st. The prize for this challenge is the Patterns Pack III Designer Series Paper from Stampin' Up! To get you started here are OUR challenge cards!

Michelle chose to use the colors of the US flag -- here's her card:
(The designer paper in this card is actually from the Prints Pack III -- so this is a sort of a sneak peek of the papers in the prize pack!)

Jana chose to use the colors of the German flag (After the US, I have to root for Germany, my former home!) The colors are gold, orangey red, and black.

Jane chose Japan as the inspiration for the colors and a beautiful bouquet of 18 red roses as her inspiration for the image.

Let the games begin!
